2. "Majhi Kanya Bhagyashree" Scheme launched by Maharashtra Government to improve girl child ratio.
  • According to the Scheme Families having an income up to Rs 7.5 lakh will be eligible for the scheme. Rs 50,000 shall be deposited in a bank in the name of the girl child.
  • The Scheme will be valid for two girl children born. If third was born, the Scheme becomes invalid for the first two as well.


3. HIFiRE: Hypersonic International Flight Research Experimentation Program Launched by United States and India Jointly.

4. SOHUM, indigenously developed new born hearing screening device developed by India.
