2. "Majhi Kanya Bhagyashree"
Scheme launched by Maharashtra Government
to improve girl child ratio.
- According to the Scheme Families having an income up to Rs 7.5 lakh will be eligible for the scheme. Rs 50,000 shall be deposited in a bank in the name of the girl child.
- The Scheme will be valid for two girl children born. If third was born, the Scheme becomes invalid for the first two as well.
