1. 28th July is the World Hepatitis Day. Theme for the World Hepatitis Day is “Eliminate Hepatitis”.

2. ONGC (Oil and Natural Gas Corporation) has won government approval for acquisition of Gujarat State.

3. Supreme Court has put an end to immediate arrest of the husband and his family members in the dowry harassment case. Police will now have to conduct a preliminary inquiry before making any arrest.

4. NPCI (National Payment Corporation of India) has received final authorization from RBI to function as the BBPCU (Bharat Bill Payment Central Unit) and operate the BBPS.

5. PM Modi launched a deep fishing scheme for fishermen of Rameshwaram.

6. “OnGo” – India’s First Mobile Ticketing System launched by Mumbai Metro.

7. “India Quake” – launched by Union Minister of Science & Technology, Earth Science and Environment, Forest and Climate Change  Dr. Harshvardhan for Earthquake Parameter Dissemination.

8. “SurfNet” new artificial intelligence software launched for creating 3D models from 2D photograph.

9. Punjab National Bank (PNB) and Bajaj Allianz General Insurance have signed an agreement for the distribution of insurance products through the branches.
Under this agreement, Bajaj Allianz General Insurance will offer personal lines of insurance products such as health, personal accident, home, motor and travel along with the commercial line of insurance products such as property, marine and engineering insurance, etc. to the bank's customers.

10. Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Competition Committee officially awarded Indonesia the hosting of the AFC Under-19 Championship 2018.

11. Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif has resigned.

12. P V Sindhu, Olympic silver medalist was appointed the Group-I officer, deputy collector.

13. India’s Ajay Singh has won the bronze medal in Asian Youth and Junior Weightlifting Championships at Kathmandu. Ajay got third place in 77 kgs men’s junior category lifting 143 kgs in snatch and 172 kgs in clean and jerk.

14. Diksha Dagar, Indian Golfer has won a Silver Medal in women individual golf event.
