2. Indian Overseas Bank has started to offer Bharat Bill Payment System, introduced by the National Payments Corporation of India, for its customers.

3. Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has set up Supervisory Colleges for six Scheduled Commercial Banks which have sizeable international presence: - State Bank of India, ICICI Bank Ltd., Bank of India, Bank of Baroda, Axis Bank Ltd. and Punjab National Bank.

4. Insurance regulator IRDAI has asked ICICI Prudential Life Insurance to take over the business of Sahara India Life Insurance with effect from 31 July.

10. “Sagar Vani” launched by Dr. Harshvardhan Minister of Science & Technology, Earth Sciences and Environment, Forests & Climate Change.

11. ‘Simorgh’ satellite-carrying rocket successfully launched by Iran.

12. India’s Lovepreet Singh has won bronze medal in Asian Youth and Junior Weightlifting Championships at Kathmandu.
