  3. AIDS researcher Professor Quarraisha Abdool Karim has been appointed as a UNAIDS Special Ambassador for Adolescents and HIV.
  4. Namami Barak festival is being celebrated in Silchar, Assam. Sarbananda Sonowal, CM of Assam said that, the Namami Barak is organised to revive humanistic values, to discover resources and possibilities of the land.
  5. India and Russia have agreed to implement the general declaration for visa free entry of the crew of chartered and scheduled flights between the two countries. Moscow is capital and Vladimir Putin is president of Russia.
  6. Indian Oil Corporation launched India’s first Electric Vehicle (EV) charging station at a petrol pump in Nagpur.
  7. Ujwal DISCOM Assurance Yojana (UDAY), the Government of India signed four MoUs under the Scheme with the State of Nagaland and with Union Territories (UTs) of Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Dadra & Nagar Haveli & Daman & Diu for operational improvements.
  8. IMBAX-2017: 1st Indo-Myanmar joint military exercise. A group of 15 officers from the Myanmarese army started a 6 day bilateral military exercise with their counterparts from the Indian Army in Meghalaya in the first ever joint training of the troops from the 2 neighboring countries.
  9. India’s nominee to the ICJ Dalveer Bhandari was re-elected after the United Kingdom withdrew its candidate Christopher Greenwood.
  10. Manik Banerjee, Veteran journalist, who is also an acclaimed mountaineer, was presented with the ‘Life Time Achievement Award’ by the Indian Mountaineering Foundation (IMF).
  11. Leander Paes and Purav Raja won the JSM Champaign Challenger trophy, their second title together, winning over Ruan Roelofse and Joe Salisbury.
  12. India’s table tennis doubles pair A Sharath Kamal and G Sathiyan won a bronze medal at the Seamaster 2017 World Tour Swedish Open.
  13. Nabaneeta Dev Sen, Sahitya Akademi awardee, Bengali writer, has been declared winner of the Big Little Book Award for year 2017 in the “Author in Bengali Language” category.
  14. Daniel Hegarty, a British motorcycle racer, was killed after hitting the barriers on the outside of the circuit and losing his crash helmet, at the Macau Grand Prix, in Macau.
  15. A Guarantee Agreement for IBRD/CTF loan of USD 98 million and Grant Agreement for USD 2 million for the “Shared Infrastructure for Solar Parks Project” was signed with the World Bank. Shared Infrastructure for Solar Parks (estimated total project cost of USD 100 million, including USD 75 million in IBRD loan and USD 23 million in CTF Loan) and  Technical Assistance (USD 2 million in CTF Grant).
  16. The world's biggest toilet pot model was unveiled at Marora, popularly known as the "Trump village", in Haryana on the World Toilet Day (19 November) in a bid to create awareness towards sanitation and use of toilets.
