Here is the Daily
Vocabulary. In this post you can get ten
words with its meaning in English, Hindi and Gujarati
language. You can also get image with each word that shows its meaning so that
you can easily understand the word and remember it with that given image. You
can also get one Sentence using the
given word. Learn the word and make your own sentences on the basis of the
given word and its image. As all of you know that vocabulary is an important to
learn and understand English subject for any competitive exams so this will
helpful for you to deal with all kinds of questions in exams.
1. Propel
- drive or push something forwards.
- प्रेरित करना, ढकेलना, आगे बढ़ना
- ચલાવવું, ફેરવવું, આગળ વધવા પ્રેરિત કરવું
- The boat is propelled by using a very long paddle.
2. Complacency
- a feeling of smug or uncritical satisfaction with oneself or one's achievements.
- शालीनता, प्रसन्नता, आत्मतुष्टि
- પ્રસન્નતા, સુશીલતા, રચનાત્મક સ્વભાવ, સમાધાન
- The figures are better, but there are no grounds for complacency.
3. Spank
- slap with one's open hand or a flat object, especially on the buttocks as a punishment.

- She was spanked for spilling ink on the carpet.
4. Asset (અસેટ)
- a useful or valuable thing or person.
- संपत्ति
- પૂંજી કે મૂડી, કીમતી વસ્તુ, વ્યક્તિ કે કંપનીની ઇસ્કામત
- Quick reflexes were his chief assets.
5. Bother
- take the trouble to do something.
- नाक में दम करना, परेशानी, झंझट, परेशान होना
- મૂંઝવવું, માનસિક ત્રાસ આપવો, સંતાપ
- Scientists rarely bother with such niceties.
6. Hoard
- accumulate (money or valued objects) and hide or store away.
- ढेर, इकट्ठा करना, संचय करना
- સંગ્રહ કરવો, સંગ્રહખોરી કરવી
- Thousands of antiques hoarded by a compulsive collector.
7. Pitfalls
- a hidden or unsuspected danger or difficulty.

- The pitfalls of buying goods at public auctions.
8. Muse
- a person or personified force who is the source of inspiration for a creative artist.
- ध्यान, विचारणा, सरस्वती, काव्य प्रतिभा, गंभीर विचार

9. Envy
- a feeling of discontented or resentful longing aroused by someone else's possessions, qualities, or luck.
- डाह, ईर्ष्या, जलन, ईर्ष्या करना
- ઈર્ષ્યા, અદેખાઈ, દ્વેષ
- She felt a twinge of envy for the people on board.
10. Plowing
- turn up the earth of (an area of land) with a plough, especially before sowing.
- जुताई, जोत, संकर्षण, जोताई
- ખેડાણ, ખેડવું
- The fields had all been ploughed up.
