1.) Commonwealth Games 2018: India finished third in the medals tally. Medals (26 Gold, 20 Silver and 20 Bronze). India's maximum medals came from shooting (16), followed by wrestling (12) and weightlifting (9).
2.) Neeraj Chopra win gold in javelin throw at the Commonwealth Games.
3.) Indian shuttler Kidambi Srikanth won Commonwealth Games singles Silver medal.
4.) Indian Shuttler Saina Nehwal won Gold Medal in women's singles final at the Commonwealth Games.
5.) The United States has launched air strikes in Syria along with the UK and France, in response to the chemical attack that killed dozens of people last week.
6.) The National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) signed an mou with the Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) to provide skill training to 500 youth and women at Kudankulam in Tamil Nadu.
7.) Under the 'Make in India' initiative, Larsen & Toubro (L&T) and Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) signed an mou to cater to the needs of evolving domestic and export markets for defence products and systems.
8.) Veteran Hindi film actor Shri Vinod Khanna was awarded the Dadasaheb Phalke Award for his contribution to Indian Cinema.
9.) Sridevi has posthumously conferred with the Best Actress Award for her last film Mom at the 65 National Awards.
