1. India’s first Tribal Entrepreneurship Summit began in Dantewada, Chhattisgarh. The event has been organized by NITI Aayog in partnership with the government of US.
2. India's first wave-powered navigational buoy, developed by the National Institute of Ocean Technology (NIOT), to guide ships in and out of ports, was launched in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The buoy, deployed at Ennore Kamarajar Port, will help ships, moving in and out of the harbour, navigate through a designated channel.
3. Ganga Kumari became the first transgender to be inducted into Rajasthan Police.
4. Delhi Cabinet approved to set up Delhi Village Development Board (DVDB) for civic works in rural and urban villages of Delhi.
5. Asia Pacific Computer Emergency Response Team (APCERT) Conference in New Delhi.
6. Indian Ocean Rim Association (IORA) is to set up a Centre of Excellence in Kochi, Kerala.

8. China has launched world's first all-electric ship that can travel up to 80 km with 2000-tonnes cargo after a two-hour charge.
9. The Space Kingdom of Asgardia (virtual nation) launched its first satellite ‘Asgardia-1’ into space from NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia.
10. The Geographical Indications (GI) Registry announced that West Bengal has been awarded the GI status for ‘Rosogolla’.
11. International ‘Lavi fair’ was held from 11th -14th November 2017 in Rampur, Himachal Pradesh. Lavi Fair has been an important point of trade between India and Tibet for centuries.
12. Scientists from NIOT will build India’s first offshore desalination plant about 40km from the Chennai coast.
13. India, the US, Japan, and Australia held their first official-level talks in Manila, the Philippines with a focus on keeping the India-Pacific region “free and open”.
14. A Curtain Raiser Event for the Founding Ceremony of the International Solar Alliance (ISA) was held in Bonn, Germany. Shri Anand Kumar, Secretary, Ministry of New and Renewable Energy was present at the event from the Indian side.
15. The Saudi Arabian government has approved the practice of yoga as a sports activity, claimed a social media post of Nouf Marwaai, founder of the Arab Yoga Foundation in the Saudi kingdom.
16. Rating firm Crisil and Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) have signed a MoU to launch CriSidEx, a sentiment Index for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME).
17. Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel won the Brazilian Grand Prix, a Formula One championship race, in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
18. National Achievement Survey (NAS), the largest ever assessment survey on a national level was conducted by NCERT.
19. Scientist Vijay Prasad Dimri has been appointed as the president of the 36th International Geological Congress (IGC), a global platform for the advancement of earth science, to be held in 2020.
