1.) Bihar has banned even e-cigarette. E-cigarette is smoked through electronics nicotine delivery system for nicotine intake. Its manufacture, distribution, sale, purchase, display and advertisement also stand banned.
2.) The Supreme Court said playing the National Anthem before screening movies in cinema halls is not mandatory. The bench was headed by Chief Justice Dipak Misra.
3.) Music maestro AR Rahman was named the official Brand Ambassador of Sikkim.
4.) Flipkart’s payments arm PhonePe said it has partnered mobile wallet company FreeCharge.

10.) Research Designs & Standards Organisation (RDSO), the research arm of Ministry of Railways, has launched ‘New Online Vendor Registration System’. This new system provides major improvements and big changes in the registration system over the earlier system.This system was evolved by Minister of Railways & Coal, Shri Piyush Goyal.
11.) Aanchal Thakur made history as she won India’s first ever international medal in skiing. The 21-year-old Manali resident clinched bronze in the coveted Alpine Ejder 3200 Cup.
12.) The Matunga suburban station on the Central Railway (CR) has found its way into the Limca Book of Records for having an all-woman staff. The station is being manned exclusively by women staffers since July 2017, a first on the Indian Railways.
13.) Paytm has set up a new entity called Paytm Money Ltd that will offer investment and wealth management products and will invest close to $10 million upfront in the new entity.
