1.) 15 January is celebrated as Army Day. The day is celebrated to pay homage and salute to the courageous and brave Indian soldiers who have been sacrificing their lives for protecting the country.

9.) India has contributed USD 50,000 to UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres's Office of Envoy on Youth to help with its mission of involving young people in the world body's goals.

10.) Sports administrator Anil Khanna has been named as the Chairman of Finance Commission of Indian Olympic Association.

11.) SEBI has approved the appointment of Vijay Kumar as the MD and CEO of NCDEX.
