1.) 4th February is celebrated as World Cancer Day. The theme for observing World Cancer Day is ‘We Can. I can.
2.) 'Exam Warriors', the book penned down by PM Narendra Modi was launched. The book was released by External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj.

9.) Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI) has signed a project agreement with the World Bank for Jal Marg Vikas Project on river Ganga.
10.) Japan has successfully launched the world’s smallest satellite-carrying rocket following a failed attempt in January last year. The rocket is about the size of a utility pole, measuring 10 meters in length and 50 centimeters in diameter.
11.) Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu will inaugurate the first International Kala Mela at the Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts in New Delhi. The objective of the event is to focus on the direct interaction between the artist and the connoisseur and also educating and raising awareness about art.
